About us

The Port Weller Soccer League (PWSL) started as a community based program as part of the Port Weller Residents Association (PWRA).

The program was based out of the Port Weller Community Centre and all activities were based at Bogart Park, which sits adjacent to the Community Centre

In 1998 PWSL separated from PWRA and incorporated as a non-profit organization.

PWSL is now one of the largest house-league soccer clubs in the Niagara Peninsula. We have no competitive or travel programs.

Based on our four corner stones, we strive to offer a quality soccer program for all participants

The Four Corner Stones

  1. Fun-Players must have fun
  2. Equal Playing time regardless of skill level
  3. Cost- Registration fees must be as low as possible, so that money is never a reason not to be able to participate
  4. Fundraising- other than the registration fees and the generous support of our sponsors, there will be no additional fundraising.

We now offer programs for children aged 4 to 17. In addition we also have a program for those in our community with Special Needs.

All of our activities are still based in the North end of St. Catharines, and Bogart Park is still our “Home Field”.

Our program runs from mid-May to the end of August each year. Most programs run Monday to Friday. There are limited programs on Saturday mornings and no programs on Sunday.

The cost of registration includes a full uniform (shorts, jersey and socks), team photo, participation trophy and Banquet Day activities.

We hope you will join in the fun!
